Andrew Curran, Professor of French and William Armstrong Professor of the Humanities at Wesleyan, published Diderot and the Art of Thinking Freely, in January 2019. The book has been reviewed in the New York Review of Books, the Wall Street Journal, the New Yorker, and the New York Times. Curran has also given interviews on the book on the BBC, Kirkus, Shelf Awareness, KPFA, and Freethought Radio.
